RDMO.UP is a service of University of Potsdam’s Research Data Mangement Team, staffed collaboratively by the University Library (UB) and the Centre for Information Technology and Media Management (ZIM). The service currently operates in test mode. It is available for testing by University of Potsdam researchers and their external collaborators. If this does not apply to you, please do not use RDMO.UP for testing and make use of AIP’s public RDMO demo installation instead.
RDMO is a web application. Processing and storing some personal data to identify a user as participant of a project or a stakeholder from an institution is required. RDMO adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is only used for the stated purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
RDMO collects your personal data in a user profile, which limited to the minimal requirements. A profile consists of the name, the surname, the email address, the account name of the user, and optionally the ORCID of the user.
We allow third party authentication methods using ORCID and GitHub. Please be aware that by your decision to use these methods, you transfer information about this connection to the authentication providers of your choice.
The RDMO service is provided free of charges and is provided on a best effort base, implying no guarantees of availability at all times. Backup of the data is done regularly, but no guarantee is given that all data will be available in all circumstances. RDMO service administrators can deactivate your account at any time.
Use of RDMO does not constitute a legal obligation between you and the operators of the Service.
As a user, you are obliged to respect other users. You agree not to export any personal data of other users without their consent. You agree not to export project data without consent of the other project members. Violation of these rules can result in deletion of your account.
